ART THERAPY

I used to be kinda crafty and sold my jewelry and crafty items at street fairs and in small shops in San Francisco back in the day. But have not done much of anything crafty lately...uh, in years, except cooking. I put a lot of my creative energies into cooking so I don't feel completely frustrated, but I am beginning to get the itch to make something... I just don't know where to start.
So the other day I bought myself an early Xmas present.....


I don't seem to have the best pens for this, the rollerball/gel pens seem to smudge, but I am still experimenting.... I forgot how mesmerizing Spirograph is. I was in a swirly trance for hours. I am so happy.

This blog is just another beginning in a long list of beginnings and I'm not sure where to begin...I am Shtook and I live on the side of a tiny mountain in California. I like everything vintage, especially if it is Mid-Century Modern. I like swimming, thrift stores, art, music, movies, books, animals, gardening, the beach, the desert and cooking. My favorite places on earth are Greece, Italy, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Bonny Doon and Cape Cod. My absolute favorite pastime is doing nothing and not needing an excuse to do it.
